We are delighted to be recruiting for a Learning Mentor with extensive Early Years experience to support our Early Years Lead within our designated Inclusion Hub.

This is an opportunity that would suit an experienced Early Years Learning who can support a small team of children of early years and primary age, to support children embracing a lifelong love of learning.

We are seeking an individual who has the right skillset to work with students from those with emotional support needs to autism.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Must hold a full and relevant Early Years Practitioner/Educator Qualification (Level 2 or above).

· Experience working with SEN is a must as well as a willingness to train and update training as required·

Due to the age of the children you will be working with, it is essential you have an up to date Paediatric First Aid qualification or are willing to undertake relevant training.

· To be able to build strong, supportive and professional relationships with children, families and the team.

· Makaton is desirable 

· Knowledge of legislation relevant to Early Years such as EYFS, SEN, safeguarding.

· Ability, flexibility and willingness to take on other responsibilities or duties as deemed necessary and also willingness to undertake training..

· Additional intimate care is required for some of our children.
