Position: Steiner Waldorf Class Teacher
Appointed by: School Leadership Team
Reports to: Teaching and Learning Lead
Position: Full time position, 37.5 hours per week
Core Hours: 8.00am – 4:00pm (with 30 minutes break, unpaid); Department meeting on Tuesdays 3:30-5pm and Faculty on Thursdays 3:30-5pm; plus occasional evenings and weekends
Salary Range: £28,350-£32,550 gross per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)
Type of Contract: Permanent
Deadline: Monday 10th March 2025, 9am, with interviews from Wednesday 12th March
Start Date: 1st September 2025 (with some observation/transition time across the summer to be agreed on appointment)

Waldorf Cambridge is seeking a committed and inspiring person to join our innovative, passionate and warm-hearted team in the Lower School. In the role of Class 1 Teacher will have overall responsibility both for the pastoral care of the class and for much of the classroom work, supported in this by the other Class Teachers and the Lower School Subject Teachers. You will have completed Class Teacher training and have a proven ability to relate to and inspire children through your creative delivery of the education and curriculum. In addition, you will also relate to, communicate and cooperate well with colleagues, parents and the wider community.
