Nant-y-Cwm Steiner School is seeking a committed and inspiring teacher to join our passionate and welcoming teaching team in the Main School.
The role of Class Teacher holds overall responsibility both for the pastoral care of the class and for the academic progress of the children. You will be supported in this by the other Class Teachers and Subject Teachers. You will have the ability to inspire children through your creative delivery of Steiner-Waldorf education and curriculum. The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching in a Waldorf setting or have completed a Waldorf teaching qualification, but we also welcome applications from those interested in undertaking the training in their first year of employment. You will also have the ability to communicate and cooperate well with colleagues, parents and the wider community.
The role will commence in September 2025 with the new Class One group who will then be joined the following September by the new Class One to form Class One/Two. Class teachers are expected to stay with their class until they reach Class Seven/Eight.
